Program Description

Kavere Services operates Crisis and Stepdown Children’s Residential programs located in the Northern California region, specifically Stockton, Fairfield, and Pittsburg. Each program has been individually licensed with The Department of Social Services and vendored through respective Regional Centers to serve children with developmental disabilities. Kavere Services has partnered with Valley Mountain Regional Center, North Bay Regional Center, and Regional Center of the East Bay to provide a unique system of care designed specifically to serve children who have achieved only marginal stability in the family home or previous placements.

Kavere Services Inc. core treatment imperatives:

• active listeners
• encourage dialogue
• understanding the child’s :
- family needs/supports
- communication methods
- learning style and routines
- interests and individual preferences

Through use of these techniques, a customized child centered service plan will be developed. Another aspect of our service is our awareness that the “bar of excellence” is always moving forward. To keep pace, we stay current with emerging treatment trends while synthesizing feedback from the planning team and others to advance our service delivery.

Our service model is designed for frequent progress review, while maintaining a focal-point on skills expansion and behavior reduction. Clinical treatment and assessment is accomplished through the collaborative efforts of the child’s parent(s), facility administrator, direct support staff, University of the Pacific (UOP) behavioral services, Regional Center representatives, and (as needed) Psychiatrist or Recreation Therapist.
